Dare to Grow Summer Lunch Program
Dare to Grow Summer Lunch Program (formerly called ‘Book-n-It’) is a Monday through Friday 12-1 pm summer lunch program for all Hi-Crest kids ages 0 through 5th Grade.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays the program extends from 12-6pm and kids will experience gardening, art, sports, dancing, science, math, cooking, a team building time, and a lesson that connects everything back to the Bible. Teachers and coaches are tasked to help kids build positive relationships, walk alongside them as they experience new activities as well as sharing the word of God.
Doxazo is a division of the Topeka Rescue Mission Ministries dedicated to equipping godly leaders through intentional discipleship, strategic outreach, and biblical training.
Doxazo Ministries hosts a 3 on 3 basketball tournament at the Avondale East NET Center every 2nd Saturday, and a Youth Camp in August and December.
DOK (Daughters of the King) & Mighty Men
are programs for upper grade school and middle school. The program provides mentorship, biblical training, service opportunities, and life skill development. These programs give Hi-Crest kids a positive alternative to unstructured play in the streets of their neighborhood. Consistent, Christ-centered mentoring allows the children to view life from a different perspective and give them a vision for their future.
